Polycystic Ovary Syndrome(PCOS) or Polycystic Ovary Disease(PCOD) is a condition in which the ovaries develop several amounts of fluid(follicles) and are unable to release eggs regularly. PCOS becomes the cause of infertility, hormonal imbalance, irregular menstruation cycle, change in physical appearance, and insulin secretion. Around 5-10 percent of women in the age bracket of the 20s and 40s are diagnosed with PCOS.

Will my periods become regularized?

In many cases, the cycle becomes regular, but this depends on the case to case. In some cases, first, the size of the ovary gets back to normal & then the cycle gets regularized. In other cases, it is vice-versa.
